jesus christ
(Mark 1:11, John 1:1-14, 36, Romans 5:6, 1 Corinthians 15:3,4, Galatians 4:4, Philippians 2:5-11, Colossians 1:15-19, 1 Timothy 3:16, Hebrews 1)
Scripture teaches that Jesus Christ is the Son of God. He doesn’t have a beginning point, nor an end. He was born of a virgin. He was nothing but pleasing to His Heavenly Father. He lived a sinless life. He suffered and died to pay for the sins of all the world. He triumphantly rose again on the third day. He is coming back one day for His saints. He is God manifest in the flesh. By Him all things were created. He is glorified above all else. He is the head of the Church.
god
(Genesis 1:1, 6:3,5-7, 1 Samuel 2:2, Psalm 14:2, Isaiah 55:9, Romans 3:26, 1 Timothy 1:17, Titus 1:2, Hebrews 1:1,2 Revelation 4:8)
Scripture teaches that God is the creator of all things. There is no one beside Him. He is all powerful. He knows all things. He is just and the justifier of man. He is Holy. He is invisible and unseen. He is immortal. His ways are higher than our ways and His thoughts are higher than our thoughts. He watches man and has a desire to have fellowship but cannot because of the wickedness of man. He has made himself known to man in many different ways at various different times.
salvation
(Luke 19:10, John 10:10, 20:31, Romans 3:10,23,5:1-21, 8:1, 10:9,10, 1 Corinthians 15:1-7, Ephesians 2:1-9, Colossians 1:13,14, 1 Timothy 2:4,5, Titus 3:3-7)
Scripture teaches it is by the grace of God that man is able to be saved. God has made a way for man to obtain salvation through His Sons sacrifice on the Cross. In order to obtain this salvation you must believe in your heart and confess with your mouth that God has raised His Son from the dead. There is no other way to be saved. Man cannot do, or say anything in order to obtain eternal life. It must be through faith in God and the finished work on Calvary. Once man has trusted in Jesus Christ he is kept by the power of God and is not able to be plucked out of God’s hand.
mankind
(Genesis 2:7, Judges 17:6, Proverbs 21:2, psalm 51:5, 100:3, 103:14, 139:14,15, Jon 33:4, Romans 3:9-19, 9:20, Ephesians 2:8, 1 Thessalonians 5:23 Titus 3:5)
Scripture teaches that man is naturally and also intentionally sinful. Man’s sin has eternally condemned him and and there is no justification outside of the finished work of Christ. Man is capable choosing to receive eternal life, or eternal judgement. Scripture teaches that man does that which is right in his own eyes. Scripture teaches that man is a tripartite being, composed of a body, soul and spirit.
CHURCH
(Acts 2:47, Acts 11:26, Acts 12:5, Acts 14:23, Romans 6:3, Galatians 3:27, Ephesians 1:22,23, 4:4 5:25,27, Colossians 1:18, 1 Timothy 3:15)
Scripture teaches that Christ started the church. That the Lord is the one who adds people to the Church. The local church is a place that is meant for truth to be taught, prayer to be made, and evangelism to be practiced. The church ought to have ordained leaders who help organize and systematically operate it. Scripture teaches in a local, and a spiritual church. In order to be added to a local body you must be saved and baptized in water, in order to be added to the spiritual body you must be saved and spiritually baptized. Scripture teaches that there is one body and Christ died for that body and one day will present it not having a spot or wrinkle.
